The Discipleship Bible School (DBS) has been an amazing school! It’s designed to deepen understanding and application of God’s Word and as we are in week 9, it’s flown by! This program equips people to live out their faith while getting a better grounding in the word.
What is the Discipleship Bible School (DBS)?
The Discipleship Bible School is an intensive program that guides participants through the entire Bible chronologically. Unlike traditional Bible studies, the DBS focuses on understanding the overarching story of Scripture and discovering God’s character and purposes throughout history.
It’s more than just gaining knowledge—it’s about transforming lives and equipping disciples to make disciples.
How the DBS Has Impacted Us
- Deepening Biblical Understanding:
Many participants have shared that DBS gave them a clearer understanding of the Bible than they’ve ever had before. Each afternoon, we read the Bible together and have fun, chat and see how every part of Scripture points to Jesus. - Strengthening Personal Faith:
The DBS challenges participants to apply biblical truths in their daily lives. We’ve been moving from simply learning the Bible to living it out with boldness and conviction. We try to also have some practical ministry engagement in the week along with all the studies. - Equipped to Lead:
We are raising up leaders in the DSS as they learn to lead small groups, teach the Bible and share the Gospel.
