What is the YWAM SOE?
The SOE is an intensive training course focused on equipping believers to share the Gospel in powerful and culturally relevant ways. It will have 11 weeks of classroom teaching, real-world outreach, and hands-on experience, and then an 8 week outreach to give you practical tools and help you go deeper spiritually, preparing you for meaningful ministry.
What You’ll Learn in the SOE
1. Practical Tools
Through the SOE, you’ll gain skills in cross-cultural communication, apologetics, and contextualized tools. You’ll learn how to do effective storytelling, relationship-building, and ways to respectfully address common questions and you will GO.
2. Spiritual Growth and Character Development
The journey isn’t just about learning new skills; it’s about deepening your walk with God. SOE provides an environment for growth in personal devotion, character formation, and reliance on the Holy Spirit. We got an amazing community of young Gen Z people and they love God. We trust through this school you will develop a stronger foundation in your relationship with God and live out His calling in every aspect of life.
3. Hands-on Experience
Our SOE program emphasizes active outreach. Students participate in trips and local outreach efforts, learning through real-life ministry experiences. This hands-on approach is key to developing a deep understanding of culture, giving you the chance to put your training into action and get to understand culture.
