During a DTS outreach in Thailand, my team and I visited homes in a small village. When we stepped into one house, we found a very sick man lying on the floor. Without hesitation, we prayed for him and shared the gospel. He had never heard about Jesus before, but as we spoke about Christ’s love and power, the message deeply moved him. Right then, he decided to accept Jesus as his Savior.

His sister, who had been listening, walked over and asked us a question. She said, “Now that my brother is a Christian, I want to understand more about Christianity so I can help him with his questions.” She invited us to her home, where we spent time teaching her about Jesus. As we talked, she opened up about her struggles with alcoholism and other addictions. We prayed for her, and something incredible happened—she felt completely free from the weight of her addictions. She also decided to invite Jesus into her heart.

That Sunday, she joined us at church for the first time. Watching her experience worship was unforgettable. As we sang, she danced with joy and told everyone, “This God we’re singing about lives in my heart!” Her excitement was contagious, and she kept coming back to church every week, eager to grow in her faith.

In the months that followed, she got baptized and became a strong, devoted follower of Christ. Her transformation reminds me of the power of Jesus to change lives. It’s amazing to see how His Spirit works in ways we can’t imagine, bringing freedom and joy to those who open their hearts to Him.
