What is a Bitesize DTS?

Have you ever wanted to do a Youth with a Mission, YWAM Discipleship Training School (DTS) but couldn’t commit to several months? Come and join the Bitesize DTS—an incredible, shorter alternative that packs the transformative power of a DTS into just a few weeks! Whether you’re curious about missions, seeking a deeper connection with God, or ready for a faith-centred adventure, the Bitesize DTS might be the perfect next step for you. 

What Is a Bitesize DTS?

The Bitesize DTS is a condensed version of YWAM’s classic DTS program, designed for those who want a taste of missions and discipleship without committing to the full-length course. It’s a one month course; we meet for 4 Monday evenings (7:30 pm UTC+8). It starts November 25th. We will have Biblical teachings that cover identity, purpose and calling. Secondly, we will encourage each other towards personal growth and discipleship in small groups and we will enjoy an online community with some fun worship. 

Who Is the Bitesize DTS For?

The Bitesize DTS is ideal for anyone looking to experience YWAM’s Discipleship Training School in a flexible, shorter format. You may be:

• A student on summer break who wants a meaningful way to spend a few weeks
• A working professional exploring Christian missions but unable to commit to a full-length program

What Can You Expect from a Bitesize DTS in Malaysia?

Malaysia offers the perfect backdrop for a YWAM DTS. We love that Malaysia is truly Asia. Malaysia is located in South East Asia. Why do your DTS in Asia? Even on a Bitesize DTS, you can experience Malaysia’s welcoming culture, incredible diversity, and experience the thriving YWAM community. 1. Apply for the Bitesize DTS: Many YWAM bases, including ours in Malaysia, offer this unique short-term DTS experience. Check out the application process on our YWAM website here.
2. Prepare for Adventure: Once accepted, get ready and download zoom. It’s going to be an amazing 4 weeks to connect and get to know each other.
3. Come Expectant: We trust that God will meet with you and that in the Bitesize DTS  you will find growth and deepen your faith, while having fun!
