A New Season Begins: Opening Ceremony for DBS & DTS

This week we kicked off our Discipleship Bible School (DBS) and Discipleship Training School (DTS) at YWAM Experience Asia — and what a start it’s been!

From the moment we did airport runs and met our new students, the excitement was real. The opening ceremony was filled with worship, laughter, and prayer as we dedicated this new season to God. It’s such a privilege to walk alongside people who want to know Him more deeply and make Him known in the nations.

After praying over each participant, we wrapped up the evening in true Malaysian style — heading to the mamak! Between plates of crispy roti canai and maggi goreng, we laughed, shared stories, and got to know each other.

Already, both schools are off to a great start. The DBS students are deep into their homework, learning to see God’s story unfold through Scripture. Meanwhile, the DTS students are bonding quickly — currently in the middle of some intense games of Mafia and Perudo!

We’re thrilled for what God is beginning in this season and can’t wait to see how He will transform lives through these schools. Please join us in praying for our DBS and DTS students.
