YWAM South East Asia
Six months ago, a new boy arrived at one of the children’s homes we serve — a sweet but deeply hurting child. His first days broke our hearts. He would only cling to one male team member, screaming and crying if anyone else came close, even lashing out when teased by other kids. We love to reach out in the city and be part of making a difference here in South East Asia.
Most weeks, he sat motionless and silent during our visits, staring into space. I’ll never forget his 4th birthday — he simply stared blankly at the cake in front of him, showing no emotion at all.
But we kept showing up — loving him, praying for him, and believing that God could heal what was broken inside.
And God did.
Today, this same little boy is full of life — smiling, laughing, and playing with the other children. He talks, jokes, and runs to greet us each week. His transformation is nothing short of miraculous.
God is truly on the move in Southeast Asia! Every visit, every prayer, and every act of love matters. What a privilege to carry even a small part of His heart for these precious children.
