Inexpensive / Cheap DTS

Our 5-month DTS costs $4,200 USD total, and that even includes your outreach flights! We do outreach in South East Asia (and beyond) so that means Japan, Nepal, Cambodia, Indonesia, etc. We love getting out to the nations and usually we go to two destinations.

Here’s what’s included:

  • Lecture phase (3 months of training, teaching, and community living)

  • Outreach phase (2 months in another part of Asia)

  • Housing, breakfast and dinner meals, and local transport

  • The program and ministry opportunities

We keep costs low so that finances aren’t a barrier to what God wants to do in your life. We don’t want finances to limit what God wants to do! We don’t include lunches, weekend meals or those unexpected fun activities you might want to do in your free time – like catching a movie or checking out little India and getting some street food. These experiences build teamwork, courage, and character — while helping you encounter God in creation. Our Adventure DTS meets every Tuesday to go on an adventure. Sometimes those activities shift to a Saturday so we can make the most out of our time. We had a beautiful jungle hike and caught a gorgeous sunrise. And for our camping trip (was it camping or glamping?!), people loved chilling on the beach. It was reinvigorating and fun!
