Building a Stronger Team, One Splash at a Time
A few weeks ago, the team stepped away from the KL and headed to a retreat centre for our annual staff retreat. It was a blend of growth and pure fun! We believe that a team that plays together, stays together—and fun was a main ingredient in everything.
Deep Dive: DNA Infusion & Vision Workshops
We kicked things off with what we call DNA Infusion so we could connect team member to our mission. We looked at where we come from and where we are going. This gave us a hold on who we are and fresh vision for what’s ahead.
Team Building & Outdoor Fun
What’s a retreat without a little friendly competition? We played a lot of games in the evenings. Our team building games were fun.

Capture the Flag: We had some very unique versions of capture the flag and mixed and matched teams. It was… organic.

Poolside Relaxation: After the workshops, the swimming pool became the hub for relaxation. Some people floated, others played some pool basketball and some chilled and lounged by the water. It was a great way to decompress. Of course others played Perudo (it’s a fun dice game) or grabbed a coffee.
Why Culture Matters
We loved getting to build trust, have fun together and receive from the Lord. We are invested in what He wants to do in 2026-2027.
