We love DTS Outreach Testimonies
What does God actually want from us? For Renee and Micah, their time on DTS proved it isn’t a perfect resume or a ten-year plan—it’s just a surrendered heart. We love hearing how God moved and what He did. Here are a few glimpses.
Coming from Singapore, Renee
struggled with feeling “too ordinary” to make a
difference. “I used to think I was way too untalented for God to work through me,” she says. “But I was so wrong. I got a glimpse of how lovingly He crafted every part of me for His glory.” That shift in identity changed everything. She stopped worrying about her own abilities and started saying, “Jesus, let your will be done through me.” Now, she carries that boldness whether she’s in the nations or back home.
For Micah,
coming from the USA, the breakthrough was about moving into something real. Even though he grew up in the church, he realized he didn’t truly understand what a relationship with God looked like. “Before coming, I had no plans for my future and no idea what to do with my life,” Micah shares. “When I realized He truly wanted a relationship, I learned to hear His voice. He showed me the plans He had for me, and I’ve had immense peace and happiness ever since.
Despite being a Christian my whole life, I finally saw that God wants more than just a one-sided love.”
We love seeing how God moves in a DTS and how He not only touches the people we reach out to but he grabs US! And we have breakthroughs.
