DBS Graduation

Discipleship Bible School Graduation

We wrapped up the Discipleship Bible School (DBS) on December 12, and honestly, it was a really good three months.YWAM EA

Everyone read through the entire Bible out loud together and studied every book in depth. That alone is no small thing. It took commitment, consistency, and a lot of showing up — and everyone did it.

But DBS wasn’t just long days with open Bibles.

There was a lot of life in between. Swimming in the pool after full teaching days. Friday meals that the staff cooked. Celebrating when we finally finished the Old Testament. Submitting homework on Google Classroom. Asking many questions — sometimes more than the speakers expected. Weekends with space to rest, hang out, and enjoy being together.

Best DBSThere was plenty of learning, but there was also fun. Jokes, late nights, good conversations, and that shared sense of “we’re all in this together.” The rhythm of reading Scripture out loud every day became normal, and somehow shaped the tone of the whole school.

By the end, students didn’t just know the Bible better — they’d lived in it for three months. They learned how the books connect, how to stay engaged even when it’s challenging, and how to ask better questions rather than rush to easy answers.

We’re genuinely proud of everyone who committed to the process. Not just for finishing the school, but for the way they leaned in, supported one another, and kept going.

Now there are two DBS outreaches and the teams are making the word come alive in India, Indonesia and beyond. Our next DBS starts September 26. Check it out or sign up here
