It includes a 3 month lecture phase with topics such as; Apologetics, CPM and DMM, mass crusades, personal evangelism and much more. After that, enbark on a transfortative journey in the nations bringing the gospel to the people.
What’s involved in a SOE?
You will get activated in the area of evangelism, guided by dynamic and knowledgeable teachers. You will get the chance to explore key tools as you study the Word helping you to connect with people from different backgrounds through the gospel. You will get the chance to zoom into the gospel and learn how to share it with the people. SOE truly is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to discover God in new ways through His heart for the lost!

We offer affordable SOE’s in an English-speaking Asian hub that is safe, has great food and offers a real mix of cultures. We love being ourselves here in an international, authentic community, where you can deepen your connection with God and find your God-given purpose.
YWAM EA runs one SOE a year in the second quarter.
We encourage you to pray and go forward with confidence. We love our YWAM family of ministries. There are so many great locations. Do you want to stay in your country or go somewhere different? Do you love a certain type of food? What’s your budget? We also encourage you to reach out and begin communications so that you can ask questions and get a feel for the location.
You must have first graduated from a DTS which is the entry level school in YWAM. We are a full immersion program so we ask that all participants join us for the whole experience. You must apply and send in your references. We encourage our students to be 17+ years old and to have graduated from high school.
SOE costs vary according to location. Our school is one of the cheapest around. Lecture phase cost is USD 1200 and outreach cost is USD 1000.
This will depend on your personal needs and lifestyle. You choose what you want to eat for lunch. You can grab a bowl of noodles or a burger. Prices are around 9-20rm a meal (about 2-4 USD). Sometimes people like to go out for a movie or to explore. In that case, you may want about 20 USD for a fun day out.
Yes, if your parents want to come visit, we would love to have them. It would be best to communicate with the course leader to look at a convenient time for their visit. SOE is usually a very full schedule.

We are from all over! We are a mix of many nationalities and ages (There will be around 30 of us onsite during your school, with most of us aged 18-25 years old)
Kuala Lumpur has a tropical climate and is warm year-round. The average high in September is 31°C (88°F) while the average low is 23°C (73°F ). In March the average high is 33°C (92°F) while the average low is 24°C (75°F). Kuala Lumpur is hot and humid throughout the year, temperatures range from 22ºC to 32ºC year round and with a tropical climate, showers occur almost daily.
